“With Vail Resorts now running the Stowe Mountain skiing operations and bringing both the industry-leading Epic Pass and Vail’s vast resources to the destination, we see great potential in this notable resort in a growing market,” says Chad Cooley, principal of AWH Partners. I would rank Topnotch Resort Spa a 2 & the Rooster Lounge food a 4 overall rating a 3.JanuInvestors Identify Strong Growth Opportunity, Following Vail Resorts to DestinationĪWH Partners, LLC, a privately held real estate investment, development, and management firm, announces the acquisition of the celebrated Topnotch Resort and Spa establishing the ownership group’s presence in the emerging ‘East Coast Capital of Skiing.’ Spire Hospitality, AWH’s full-service hospitality management company, is now managing the resort and will immediately implement its repositioning strategy, leveraging Spire’s experience at AWH’s similarly-situated High Peaks Resort (Lake Placid, NY) to drive stronger operating revenues and profit margins. So I left feeling no "topnotch" service or spa for me, my special day & birthday celebration! I will not be booking spa services at Topnotch Resort Spa again. I was extremely disappointed no one was at reception area where I wanted to discuss my experience & purchase some items. I waited several minutes & other guests were waiting as well. When I was leaving spa after my all day spa time, I went to reception area. I recommend all devices be locked in locker & not allowed in any part of the lounge areas. No one wants to hear anyone talking on their cell phone while trying to relax in a quiet spa like atmosphere nor be distracted by someone texting either. I also feel that the spa should have some policy regarding cell phones and other electronic devices in the ladies lounge area. He made me more uncomfortable, have pain & unable to relax and truly enjoy my overall massage. I had to remind my massage therapist several times to please have gentle pressure on both of the bottom of my legs due to being sore from ski boots and skiing. And for the money I don't feel I got my money's worth. The wrap was good but I didn't think my massage was all that Great! I've had much better massages at other spas. I had another soecial spa treatment booked at 3pm for Mountain Sacha package which included a special warm wrap with several oils & herbal teas & massage. One of the best French Onion soups I've eaten & tasty duck flat bread. I did have a very savory lunch at the Rooster Lounge. I don't think I got my money's worth nor that special of treatment. I have better mani/pedi at my home town with soecial treatment & costing less than what I spent. I didn't feel mani/pedi was all that great nor special. I came early to allow time for shirt tour before my 11am stretch class. Upon my arrival I didn't feel or receive a special welcome, this was my first time at this spa, no one really gave me a friendly special welcome nor gave me a tour of the spa, pool, lounge, etc. Well to my disappointment it wasn't "topnotch" at all. Note, Stowe is the Spa Capital of New England! I was anticipating my special spa day at a "top-notch spa. Before I decided to book my spa day at Topnotch Spa, I did my research and spoke with several other local Stowe spas & decided to choose Topnotch Spa. I booked a special spa day after skiing 4 days straight & wanting to pamper myself & celebrate my birthday.
